Everything You Need to Know Before Renting a Trailer
To ensure a smooth and safe rental experience, we ask that all customers review and meet the following requirements before booking a trailer with WD 3 Rentals.
Rental Period
- Your rental period begins once the rental agreement is signed.
- Trailers must be returned within the agreed time to avoid late fees.
- Late returns may result in additional charges based on the trailer type and duration of delay.
Customer Responsibility & Liability
- Customers are fully responsible for the trailer during the rental period.
- Any damage or loss to the trailer, whether due to misuse or accidents, will be the renter's financial responsibility.
- Our rental agreement outlines all terms related to damage, theft, or improper use.
Towing Vehicle Requirements
To safely haul our trailers, your towing vehicle must meet the following:
- Be in good mechanical condition.
- Have a compatible trailer hitch and light wiring for the specific trailer you are renting.
- Never exceed the towing capacity of your vehicle, as outlined in your owner’s manual.
- Properly connect safety chains and trailer brakes (if applicable) before driving.
License & Insurance
- A valid driver’s license is required to rent any trailer.
- Renters must provide proof of insurance that covers towing and any liability that may arise during the rental.
- We reserve the right to deny rentals if the required documents are not provided.
Distance & Travel Limits
- There are no set distance limits for trailer use.
- However, if we are required to retrieve a trailer from outside our service area, additional recovery fees may apply.
- We recommend notifying us if you plan to travel long distances or out of state.
